The Institute of Psychiatry and Human Behaviour (IPHB), located opposite the Holy Shrine in Bambolim, Goa, has announced recruitment for various contractual positions in 2024. The detailed vacancies and their respective eligibility criteria are outlined below:

Staff Nurse

• Vacancy: 04 (Leave Vacancy)
• Consolidated Pay: ₹45,765 per month
• Contract Period: Co-terminus with the leave period (extendable or reducible)

Eligibility Criteria for Staff Nurse

• Educational Qualifications:
  1. Certificate in Nursing from a recognized institution.
  2. Certificate in Midwifery or special training for male nurses (6 months duration).
  3. Registration as a Nurse/Midwife with the State Nursing Council.
  4. Knowledge of Konkani (essential) and Marathi (desirable).
• Age Limit: Between 18 and 45 years.

Assistant Pharmaceutical Chemist

• Vacancy: 01
• Consolidated Pay: ₹45,765 per month
• Contract Period: One year or until the post is filled on a regular basis, whichever is earlier.

Eligibility Criteria for Assistant Pharmaceutical Chemist

• Educational Qualifications:
  1. B. Pharm degree from a recognized university or equivalent.
  2. Three years of experience in a reputed pharmaceutical concern, government undertaking, or hospital with more than 500 beds.
  3. Knowledge of Konkani (essential) and Marathi (desirable).
  4. M. Pharm degree is desirable.
• Age Limit: Between 18 and 45 years.

The application process involves a walk-in interview. Here are the steps to follow:

Prepare Documents

• Recent passport-sized photograph.
• Bio-data with attested copies of certificates proving qualification, age, residence (15 years), and a valid employment exchange card.

Attend the Interview

• Staff Nurse:
  • Registration Time: 9:45 AM to 10:45 AM on 18 December 2024.
  • Interview Time: 11:00 AM onwards.
• Assistant Pharmaceutical Chemist:
  • Registration Time: 9:45 AM to 10:45 AM on 20 December 2024.
  • Interview Time: 11:00 AM onwards.

**Important Notes:

• Latecomers beyond the registration time will not be entertained.
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
• Candidates selected will be on a contractual basis and will not have claims for permanent absorption.
